I'd like to share a few of what my wife, Nada, refers to in every speaking engagement as "life lessons"—the things I've learned along the way through my journeys and my photography.
Some of these stories began with a photograph.
Some began with a conversation.
Others began with a quiet moment that might have gone unnoticed if I'd been in too much of a hurry.
Each one taught me something worth remembering.
Every photograph has a story.
Some are absolutely true.
Some may have grown just a little better with the telling.
I hope, somewhere along the trail, you'll find a story that reminds you of a place you've been, someone you've loved, or a lesson you've learned yourself.
